I like to describe myself as a wife and mother/grandmother first and then as an English professor at Edison State College in Punta Gorda, Florida, as well as author. I have been married for over forty years and have two wonderful children as well as three amazing grandchildren. I have been teaching for a very long time and I have loved every moment of it (ok, maybe not every moment). I have written three books. A cookbook that I personally published and two novels published by Doggie in the Window. Destined for Greatness is a spiritual quest novel that answers the lifelong question, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" Forbidden: A Love Story was written after my mother's death. My sisters and I found a lovely box of letters under my mother's bed. The letters described my mother's and father's love story. The book is a memorial to them. I enjoy writing poetry and have a recipe/story column in Niche Literary Magazine.
We are Destined for Greatness!
Have you ever wanted to know why certain things happen? Have you ever questioned why bad things happen to good people? I have always been curious, so I wrote Destined for Greatness and decided I would explore some answers of my own.
Stories for and from the heart.
Forbidden: A Love Story was written to memorialize my mother and father. It is their love story as it began in difficult times after W.W.I when Europe was experiencing the emergence of Benito Mussolini and Hitler.
